Oh boy ... I was kind of hoping this wouldn't happen D:

Awwww! Why's that?
Andrea: [SPN] - We will find youkoichiko on April 29th, 2011 08:11 pm (UTC)
Because this season lacked any actual plot?
Because after all the time-travelling, the alternative universes, the forgetting and remembering, we are STILL not anywhere near an actual plot.
Not to mention Castiel is suddenly weird, the "mother of all evil" thing reminds me a painful-lot of Buffy and Sam and Dean are not nearly as close as they were before.

In a nutshell: I want Kripke back. This season sucked!
On the other hand: Maybe this really is a Buffy-thing. I don't know if you know the show, but season 6 sucked in that show too! And later season 7 was an actual blast, so ... who knows?

Gaaah, sorry for getting back to you so damn late :-/

I partly agree with what you're saying. They had LOTS of trouble building up a real plot this season. Also the whole soulless-Sam thing didn't help the brotherly relationship between Sam and Dean at all. And since this was lacking, a HUGE part of the show was missing, too. But I'm confident that S7 will change that. As soon as we finally get rid of this ridiculous angel-war-plot things will get better. I'm sure of it.

And of course I do know (AND LOVE) Buffy. It's my alltime favorite show. Though, I gotta admit, I liked S6 as well. Okay, not everything, but it certainly had some very outstanding episodes. (and I'm not only talking about the musical *g* )

Hey :D

Thanks for answering =D

Honestly, it's not only the relationship between Sam and Dean that is bothering me. I like the new idea of Cas going dark-side but ... the transition was to slow. It seemed to me like Sarah didn't really know what to do with this season and was just juggling around possible enemies. And really, Eve was a really REALLY bad call D: D:
Her whole existence in the show didn't really make any sense at all!

And that isn't all:
Sarah is clearly contradicting Kripke!
So if the bad creatures go to purgatory, then how come when Dean and Sam opened the Hellgate in season 2, evil creatures came out of it?
I really like the idea of Heaven and how they explained what Heaven is, but ...

Think about it:
Death is supposed to take people's lives, right?
And the Reapers help him. Firstly, Dean's episode as Death was just plain stupid (although long ago). With people dying every 2 seconds, that just didn't make any sense.
And now there's Destiny in there too? How is that supposed to work?
Not to mention the whole back and forth between alternate realities, the past, the future etc.

Sorry, I'm just not seeing the point anymore.
I can't wait for the season finally so we will FINALLY get some closure on this chapter.
... and I can't keep track of the angels anymore D: D:

BUFFY *_____*

You know, I know my opinions are kind of extreme and not very likable but I used to love this show so so much and this season was just so god-awful ...

Hey :)

So you really think Cas is going dark side? Somehow I still not see this happening. Right now he is on the same path Sam was in S4/5..... good intentions... wrong decisions yadda yadda yadda.
But I do agree about Eve. They were building that "big bad" up so much... made an entire episode about it... and then wham... like 3 or 4 episodes later she is already killed, not really having caused any real damage. That was indeed a disappointment. I liked the idea (and the actress) though. But they should have flashed out the storyline way better.

So if the bad creatures go to purgatory, then how come when Dean and Sam opened the Hellgate in season 2, evil creatures came out of it?

B/c lots of evil things are already in hell? From the beginning of time? And/or all the ppl that went to hell were turned into demons and evil things over the centuries?

Death is supposed to take people's lives, right?
And the Reapers help him. Firstly, Dean's episode as Death was just plain stupid (although long ago). With people dying every 2 seconds, that just didn't make any sense.
And now there's Destiny in there too? How is that supposed to work?

Right... BUT... Death is one of the horsemen.... so he is/was not present all the time. Otherwise we would be in a constant state of apocalypse. After all, Lucifer had to RAISE him.
Reapers and Destiny are working hand in hand... trying to retain the natural balance of life and death in the world.
And since the apcoalpyse and the whole Luficer/Michael thing, things tumbled out of order and now there is chaos.
So, at some point I do understand what they are trying to do. Sometimes it's just a bit hard to see and understand cause lots of stuff looks so complicated. It's like they are always going new ways without patching up some holes in the past. Know what I mean?

And hey, don't worry. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. And I always like to hear other opinions. :) And I understand how you feel. But just don't give up hope yet... As soon as this angel crap is finally over, I have no doubt that we will return to the things that really make/made this show so unique and awesome.
