[SPN] 4x08: Wishful Thinking
Suicidal teddy bears with lollipop syndrome? Really?!

I don’t know what the Supernatural writers have been smoking lately, but it has to be some awesome stuff! And I want some, too!

Well, that being said…

This episode was all kinds of strange *lol* At the beginning it really screamed Trickster all over again!! But I’m glad that it wasn’t him. Though, I’m wondering why the boys didn’t make this connection at first as well.

I loved all the similarity scenes between Sam and Dean. You know, standing up at the same time, saying stuff simultaneously etc. That’s my boys!

SAMMY LOST HIS SHOE… ok, correction, SAMMY LOST HIS SHOES!! And died… AGAIN! *rofl* But at least he didn’t get strangled this time, so I think that’s a step in the right direction!

The scene with Dean and the kid? Okay, sure, funny how the kid knocked Dean out (I have to admit, I enjoyed it way too much than I probably should have*ggg*) BUT Dean hitting the kid back? Sorry, but that was just so wrong and unnecessary!! I mean, it was A KID, damnit. He wasn’t possessed. So, I’m quite disappointed in Dean for doing this :-/

Jared’s comedy timing was btw excellent again!! This boy is born for doing comedian stuff lol Like when they showed the little girl their teddy bear doctor badges and Sam doing his “look, look it’s alright and I'm funny and that’s my badge” thingy? Hilarious… also his facial expressions were hilarious! Especially in the naked dude scene and the restaurant when Hope and Wes got it going on :D

Oh, I’m also in need of a teddy bear doctor, please!! Or a florist… or someone from the health department! I’m not picky. :D

And now we know, it’s a big… foot! lol Jared made this footprints, right? RIGHT? :D Saved the props-department lots of work, too. :D

Last bit of the episode? Yep, not so funny anymore. I always wished for Dean finally opening up a bit… but now, after hearing what he had to say? Yeah, I wish I would have never known. My heart truly aches for Dean, his broken look, pleading silently at his brother to quit asking. :-( I’m very afraid of the moment when we learn what Dean really saw and went through. Already his words tonight broke my heart to little pieces :(

Well, all in all, liked this episode, it was ok. And what was it? The third or fourth comedy episode this season? Man, I don’t think we had so much in season three combined. But I like it… I guess.
Though, if they put all the comedy stuff in the beginning of the season, I’m kind of afraid if the rest will bring us some unbearable angst :-/ And I really wouldn't mind some SCARY and SPOOKY episode again. Sure, comedy is great, but they should balance it a bit more. After all, the show's not some comedy show, and the mix between scary and spooky had always been great.

And because I just have to mention it again! Teddy bear! Suicide! And lots of cotton flying around !! *lmfao*

I almost forgot!! Dean saying one of my most favourite movie quotes of all time? "Run, Forrest, run!" !!! That's just priceless!!

When I saw the preview I thought this was going to be a crappy ep. But now that I watched it, I liked it a lot, even though I want a scary episode again!!!

I'm right there with you about the scary episode part! Don't get me wrong, I love it when our boys go all goofy... but it's starting to get a lot of comedy stuff lately, and I'm aching for some major spooky storylines.

Me too. I like the comidy in the show but it's getting a little too much lately.

I don't really think this episode should be clasified as Funny. I guess it was a typical Ben Elmund episode - fun and angst combines.

The suicidal teddy bear was awesome and I have to say Jared killed me with his actin in the scene with the little girl. He was priceless.

Kripke killed Sam.....again O_o

Dean is having nightmares....and Sam wakes him up...awwwww. OK next time there should be Sam waking dean up from a nightmare with a kiss and a blowjob. Someone please tell that to Kripke.

Sam not wishing for normal life but Lilith head on a plate really shows how much he's changed...to the dark side I guess :(((

But what's interesting is that Dean still wishes for Sam to have the normal life, like he's the only one with hope left. It's true Dean ich changing to Sam and Sam's becoming more like Dean. Scary.

yeah, I think I have to agree, it's a typical Ben Elmund episode. And he sort of got his wishing fish idea now after all *lol*

I'm starting to think that the writers get a kick out of killing our boys with any possible chance they can get!!! *sigh*

And I'm wondering how often Dean mumbled in his sleep. It definitely wasn't the first time... so I'm surprised that Sam didn't say anything before. (and hey... totally supporting the kiss and blow job idea...) I BET Dean wouldn't see THAT coming (yes, pun very much intended lol )

I guess the transformation from Sam into Dean and vice versa started somewhere in season three. And I actually kinda like it... I always dig some mirroring stuff like this if it's done really good. And so far, I do support the idea, they make it very believable.

I thought the same thing about the Trickster! But I figured it couldn't him, because he wasn't in the 'Then' part.. But it would've made sense for the boys to think of him at first. I was surprised they didn't.

Though, if they put all the comedy stuff in the beginning of the season, I’m kind of afraid if the rest will bring us some unbearable angst

That crossed my mind, too. EEP! But I'm all for the more angsty and scary episodes, we've had so many funny ones this season already.

RUN, FORREST, RUN! I loved that. XD

yay! I'm glad that someone else made that Trickster connection! Now, thinking about it, it of course makes not much sense, b/c it wasn't some sort of "justice serve" scenario... but at the very beginning it was just scream weird-Trickster-stuff.

Oh and I think we kind of pulled a brain-twin-thing with this episode, huh? :D Me like!
